With a good stable of pitchers and senior leadership in place, there is a great deal of excitement surrounding the Villanova Preparatory School (VPS) baseball team this season. VPS opened its season with two games against a tough Carpinteria Warrior team and are 0-2.
Looking ahead to Frontier League action, the Wildcats figure to be right in the mix for a playoff berth this season.
VPS last made the playoffs in 2015, but followed that up in 2016 with a 6-12 overall
