Ojai Valley School fourth-graders Jake Larkin (left) and Pako Rilling show off their shaved heads, a gesture of solidarity with children with cancer. Larkin was diagnosed with aplastic anemia when he was 5, but is now healthy. “He's 100 percent in the clear,” said his mother, Kimberly Cluff. Larkin is now working to raise $10,000 to benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation and is inspired others. “The OVS second-graders had a bake sale last week, they donated the proceeds to Jake's campaign,” said Cluff.
