Brayden “Bubs” Rogers (left) breaks up a pass while playing for the Ojai Eagles back in 2013. Like Many former Eagles, Rogers is now a member of the Nordhoff High School varsity squad and should be a key contributor for the Rangers in 2016.

Lance Wiggins is busy preparing for his first season as Nordhoff’s football coach, but he also is finding time to prepare for the future by strengthening ties with the Ojai Eagles Youth Football organization.

“In order to have a good program at the high school level, you have to have a good youth program,” Wiggins explained. “We’re trying to cross-pollinate our programs. It’s our feeder program and it’s a big, big part of a successful program.”

Wiggins plans to have a coaching clinic with Nordhoff’s staff working with the Eagles’ coaches
