A man was taken into custody Tuesday following the burglary of an Ojai Valley school. Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office (VCSO) arrested James Hanna, 20, in connection with a break-in and burglary at Oak Grove School, according to VCSO Sgt. Rick Harwood.
Harwood said the Ojai Police Department received a call at 7:34 a.m. Tuesday, reporting an intruder and apparent burglary at the school, which is in Meiners Oaks. The report indicated a member of the school staff had surprised a man in the act of burglarizing an English and music room. The suspect then fled, Harwood said.
