“How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” merrily rolls across Santa Barbara City College’s stage as if the cast of 30-plus actors, dancers and singers just happens to fit its roles perfectly. In the season-opening comedy created in the 1960s by writers, including Abe Burrows, and with a score by composer Frank Loesser, the college has found what seems like the perfect cast for the many roles. Everybody who sings a solo or joins an ever-ready choral group seems to have grasped their roles with confidence and a buoyant sense of humor and whimsy.
