UPDATE: Suspect in Oak View search caught

Ventura County authorities say they’ve apprehended the subject they were looking for in Oak View Wednesday night.
A shelter-in-place advisory issued while the search was underway has been lifted, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Brian Slominski.
The advisory, sent out on VC Alert at 10:14 p.m., was to “stay indoors and lock doors.”
The search for the subject involved a helicopter from the Ventura County Air Unit, a SWAT team and deputies on foot.
Police also requested a drone and two K9s to assist in the search.
Deputies set up a perimeter that included a barranca east of Ojai Drive.
According to initial reports, a gun holster was found on the couch inside a residence that deputies were investigating.
