County reports just 2 COVID-19 patients in ICU

As of April 22, there were 80,398 people who ever were diagnosed with COVID-19 in Ventura County and 218 active cases.
This was a 38-case increase from the day before and a 212-case increase from the week before.
Out of these 80,398, 1,003 were in Ojai and 372 in Oak View.
Fifteen people were in the hospital with COVID-19 countywide as of April 22.
Two were in intensive care units. More than 25% of ICU beds were available countywide.
A total of 1,002 people are reported to have died from the virus in Ventura County as of April 22. Twenty-seven were in Ojai and five in Oak View.
Five new deaths were reported across the county this week.
