A status conference in the Santa Barbara Channelkeeper watershed adjudication lawsuit is set for Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m. in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Tuesday’s hearing will be the eighth status conference in the case, according to online court records.
Status conferences are held to help the judge manage and set a time frame for the case.
Using the court’s new remote access program, people with a computer, smart phone or tablet with internet service can connect from anywhere to courtrooms to listen to nonconfidential proceedings.
The Remote Audio Appearance Program requires users to create a court ID and password, and then register for access for each hearing.
In registering for audio access to Tuesday’s status conference, enter case number 19STCP01176.
The name of the case is Santa Barbara Channelkeeper v. State Water Resources Control Board; et al.
The location of the hearing is the Spring Street Courthouse, Department 10.
For people who wish to attend the hearing in-person, a limited number of courtroom seats will remain available, court officials said.
