Ventura County government officials held their daily videotaped briefing on the county government response to COVID-19.

Among those speaking was Ventura County Fire Department Chief Mark Lorenzen, pictured at right, who said: 








"If you need us, we're still there." He explained several of the precautions firefighters are taking when responding to medical calls, which include inquiries about symptoms, one person entering the home intially, protective equipment provided to the patient, and protective gear worn by the first responders.

Others who spoke included Supervisor Kelly Long, county CEO Mike Powers, Ventura County Public Health Officer Dr. Robert Levin, Israel Vasquez, program administrator for the county Farmworker Resource Program, and county Agricultural Commissioner Ed Williams.
