Council OKs Historic preservation ordinance

“Can we vote on it? Have we not beat this thing to death yet?”
After nearly an hour of deliberation, Councilman Ryan Blatz implored his fellow council members to make a decision on modifications to the first reading of the newly modified Historic Preservation ordinance. 
At its Feb. 26 meeting, after much confusion over the deliberations, the Ojai City Council unanimously approved the introduction of the ordinance with the amendments.
There were four amendments made to the ordinance as proposed.
