12th annual Family Shelter golf tournament set

Inspired to help a worthy cause, play on a scenic course and perhaps win the $25,000 hole-in-one grand prize, up to 148 golfers will take part in the major fundraiser for the Ojai Valley Family Shelter which offers food and shelter to those without homes.
The tournament will be held at the Soule Park Golf Course. Golfers will arrive at 7 a.m. Sept. 15 and will hit the course at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
The $125 entry fee per player includes golf and cart, a buffet and a chance at the numerous prizes including electronics, golf equipment, round-trip airfare for two and the hole-in-one grand prize.
For more information or to register for the event, call tournament director Rod Owen at (805) 649-1499.
