would buy if here: More than one of things that I need three of. If I wanted to order the thing, I wouldn't be in their store; I'd be online.

general comment: I used to shop in Ojai for most of my needs. I still visit Starr Market at least 5 times a week, and I visit both True Value Hardware and Meiners Oaks Hardware about twice a week. If every single other store in Ojai closed, I'd still do just fine. Most businesses in Ojai have an attitude that indicates that they think I need them, not that they need me. Fine. I won't argue with them or write letters to the editor; I'll just prove to them every single day that I don't need them. If every business in Ojai closed down overnight, I'd still continue to live here, and I'd still be here ten years from now. The local businesses need the customers, not the other way around. If Ojai went broke and wound up reverting to unincorporated County with no place to shop, people could still live here. When it becomes apparent to me that all of the local business moguls and pushy Chamber of Commerce types understand that simple fact, I'll start doing more of my shopping in town.
