Display advertising terms and credit:

  • Terms are cash with copy until credit has been approved.
  • Credit approval requires submission of our credit application, normally 10 days before publication. The publisher reserves the right to reject or limit credit.
  • All billed accounts are payable by the 15th day of the month following publication. All accounts delinquent 60 days or more will be placed on a cash basis until brought current unless other arrangements are made.
  • A service fee of 1.5 percent (18 percent annum) will be applied to accounts not paid within 30 days of the end of the month in which the charges were incurred.
  • In the event collection proceedings become necessary, the advertiser shall be responsible for all collection costs, court costs and attorney fees.
  • The Ojai Valley News will be diligent in preventing errors or omissions in advertisements. If requested, the Ojai Valley News will furnish a letter to be posted stating the correct information, Claims for adjustment must be made within seven days of publication. Advertisers should check ads upon publication as credit is allowable for first insertion only.
  • The Ojai Valley News will be responsible only for that portion of an ad that is incorrect. Any discount or credit will be negotiated by advertiser and publisher.
