Ojai visitors and residents will have a rare opportunity to learn about the culture and participate in the traditional ceremonies of the local Barbareño/Ventureño Band of Mission Indians — more commonly known as the Chumash tribe — Sept. 27 at the third annual Sukinanik’oy collective arts and crafts festival.
