The Nordhoff Rangers improved to 2-0 on the season tonight with a 56-7 road victory over the Oak Park Eagles (0-2). NHS established their dominance early in the game thanks to three first quarter touchdown runs by senior running back Shane Hersh.
In the second quarter, senior Baylee Rogers intercepted a pass and returned in 78-yards for a score and then Austin Santino threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to Nick McGrew. The Rangers took a 35-0 lead into the half.
In the second half, running back Joe York had his coming out party as he rushed for three touchdowns of 3, 27, and 53 yards.
