Wednesday evening brought a much-needed downpour from one end of the valley to the other. According to the Ventura County Watershed Protection District, near Lake Casitas, rain totaled 1.66 inches; Oak View got 1.88 inches; Ojai proper got 1.54 inches; and Upper Ojai got 1.2 inches.
