Editor's note: Although the Planning Commission will still take public comment Wednesday on the cell tower, they are going to continue the public hearing until Feb. 19. This Wednesday, they are expected to hold a study session, staff will give a presentation and they will take public comment on the Mitigated Negative Declaration, but won't take action until the February meeting at the earliest.

In Ojai, a tree is usually a good thing, especially one that reaches 65 feet. But some residents are taking issue with the city and a local church who want to add one to the landscape.
If it were truly a tree there would likely be no problem. But it isn’t, so there is.
