The County of Ventura’s Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday at the Ventura County Government Center to recommend support of new state legislation that would put a mandatory restriction on the length of mining trucks using Maricopa Highway. Supervisor Steve Bennett is urging board members to recommend that the state adopt the legislation.According to Bennett, Highway 33 is designated as having an advisory kingpin to rear axle length (KPRA) of 30 feet.
