Green Grant Goes Up A Creek

After six months of work, the Ojai Valley Green Coalition, working with area environmentalists and representatives of the city, has obtained a $30,000 grant to finish the creek restoration and renew the ecosystem of the Ojai riparian corridor that passes through Libbey Park. The Community Wetland Restoration Grant will restore 1.4 acres, at an estimated cost of $50,500.
