Bike path death could become a criminal case

Andra Belknap, Ojai Valley News reporter
Raymond Ceresini, the 39-year-old Ojai man found dead on the Ojai Bike Trail July 1, died due to fentanyl toxicity, according to Waleed Kilany of the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office.
As a result, Ventura County Sheriff's Office (VCSO) investigators are looking in to a potential criminal case involving Ceresni's death, said VCSO Capt. Garo Kuredjian.
Though the case is in its beginning stages, Kuredjian said, investigators will attempt to find the source of the fentanyl that led to Ceresini’s death.
