The Ventura River Water District (VRWD) is ramping up its conservation program for the year ahead, with some help from the Ojai Valley Green Coalition (OVGC). Meeting in regular session March 15, the VRWD Board of Directors approved a $10,000 grant for funding drought education and outreach activities to be conducted on behalf of the District by OVGC.
“They do really great work educating people about water conservation,” VRWD General Manager Bert Rapp said March 16. “We saw this as a great opportunity to help our customers learn even more about conservation skills and methods.”
