Some of the streets in Oak View will be looking a little more smooth and sleek in 2017, after the county's latest repaving project has been completed. The Ventura County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Dec. 13 to awarding a $979,741 contract to the Oxnard-based Toro Enterprises Inc. for its services on the project.
“We have been making a big effort to bring our unincorporated Ojai Valley roads into top condition,” District 1 Supervisor Steve Bennett said. “In addition to the repaving, we'll address sidewalk maintenance and improvements along the streets, too.”
