Ojai’s long-running ad-hoc committee on cultural resources has been given a three-week extension to finish its work and submit its findings to city staff.
“It has been two years and its been a long learning experience,” said Julie Tumamait Stenslie, a local Chumash elder who sits on the ad-hoc committee.
Many involved in the process have readily admitted that the committee’s work has gone on far too long.
