The conditional use permit (C.U.P.) for a new assisted-living facility in Meiners Oaks will be considered by the Ventura County Planning Commission when it convenes Dec. 1. Commissioners will decide whether to give a go-ahead to the proposal for developing 1.97 acres at 203 E. El Roblar Drive.
If completed, the facility would comprise four single-story buildings with 16 living units each, along with a fifth building for reception, offices and a wellness center. Scattered throughout would be a recreation room, a dining area, several kitchens and a library.
