If you're worried about the lack of a “plan B” should Lake Casitas go dry, some intellectual relief could be in sight. The Casitas Municipal Water District (CMWD) Board of Directors will review an assortment of plan Bs — 12 in fact — when its meets Nov. 9.
“This has been a long time coming,” CMWD Director Russ Baggerly said Nov. 8. “I started thinking about it at the first of the year, and now, because of our extreme situation, we're moving on it. We have a lot more information than before.”
