An assisted living facility, proposed for 203 E. El Roblar Drive, came a step closer to construction Oct. 17 when the Ojai Valley Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) met in regular session at the Oak View Community Center. Commissioners voted 4-1 in their recommendation for the Ventura County Planning Division (VCPD) to grant a conditional use permit (C.U.P.) — with modifications.
If completed, the facility would comprise four single-story buildings with 16 living units each, with a fifth building for reception, offices and a wellness center. Scattered throughout would be a recreation room, a dining area, several kitchens and a library.
