Petra McCullough's 33 Sunset School sixth graders learned about cell structures Oct. 6. The students worked in small groups to observe plant and animal cells under a microscope.
“I saw a cell membrane!” exclaimed student Sergio Vejar.
“It looks like a little booger!” said another student, with a devious grin on his face.
“We would never have been able to do this before,” said McCullough as she watched her students experiment.
