Ojai voters will be presented with three county-wide initiatives Nov. 8.
Measure AA proposes a county-wide sales tax increase of one-half cent for 30 years.
The $70 million raised annually would provide for street and traffic repairs, particularly on U.S. Highways 101 and 118.
The funds would also keep bus fares affordable for seniors, veterans, the disabled and students, increase bicycle and pedestrian safety and protect local waterways from stormwater runoff.
Measure C and Measure F are competing initiatives, SOAR (Save Open Space and Agricultural Resources) and Sustain VC, respectively.
