The Ojai City Council will convene Sept. 27 to discuss leaf blowers, a city manager appointment, water conservation and more.
The Council will introduce an ordinance which would require commercial users of leaf blowers to possess a city business license. The ordinance would also place restrictions on the times of day the tools can be used.
The Council will also vote to appoint Interim City Manager Steve McClary to the city manager post.
McClary was named interim manager in March, with the expectation that the council would evaluate his performance with an eye towards naming him city manager after a period of six months.
