Fire, water, the Libbey Bowl and bees will all figure on the agenda Sept. 13 when the Ojai City Council meets in regular session.
The issues of drought measures and water conservation are likely to generate considerable discussion, accounting for two items on the agenda. One, for the consideration and possible adoption of a 45-day moratorium on new or expanded commercial developments requiring additional water connections — along with a similar restriction on swimming pools — will resume a discussion begun at the Council's Aug. 23 meeting. The temporary moratorium would allow time for further deliberations on whether to apply water-related restrictions to new development projects in Ojai.
