The Ojai Valley Museum is showcasing the eclectic personal collections of Ojai residents. Treasures include curated collections of antique insecticide sprayers, Frank Sinatra memorabilia, Italian motorcycles, ViewMaster slides and more.
“There's somebody that collects everything, and things that you would never think of,” said Wendy Barker, museum executive director. “It's weird what you collect. You don't always know why.”
David Mason's collection of movie costumes is on display. Curiously, Mason doesn't like movies.
“I like movie people,” he said. “I like the fact that they set out to do something and succeeded.”
