The outlook for affordable housing in Ojai is not good, confirmed Mayor Paul Blatz.

The city has made exactly zero progress in constructing housing for low-income Ojai residents, according to housing progress reports prepared for the Ojai City Council’s April 26 meeting.

Twenty new housing units in the “moderate” and “above moderate” income categories have been constructed since 2014, according to the report.
