The Ojai Valley Family Shelter (OVFS) will close the doors of its homeless shelter this morning, after a season which included 5,281 hot meals served and 1,673 overnight stays, according to OVFS Shelter Administrator Rick Raine.
OVFS takes the shelter to one of seven area churches each night from Dec. 1 through March 31.
According to Raine, 89 individuals registered for OVFS services during the 2015– 2016 season, including four families with children.
