Entries for the Ojai Film Society’s (OFS) fifth annual Young Filmmakers Competition have been received and judged, the judges appear to have liked what they’ve seen — and the public has a chance to see the students’ work Saturday.
“They are all very good,” said Kitty Winn, OFS board member and competition director. “It was difficult to decide.”
“I’m very impressed with this year’s submissions,” said Jim Whitney, board member and co-director. “These are young people who grew up on media, and it’s been interesting to see the way they’ve chosen to tell stories — their personalities and their techniques. I’ve enjoyed watching them.”
