Petra McCullough, a sixth grade teacher at Oak View's K-8 Sunset School, has secured $8,500 in national science grant funding to upgrade the school's science lab, according to the National Science Teacher's Association (NSTA).

Sunset currently has a space dedicated for middle school science, but not much more.
