Construction of the Topa Mountain Winery is back on track after the Ojai Planning Commission approved modifications to the builder's conditional use permit. Meeting Wednesday, Commissioners Chester Jagiello, John Mirk, MacAdam Lojowsky and Rosalie Zabilla were unanimous in their vote. Commissioners Steven Foster and Kathleen Nolan recused themselves from the item.
“Actually, construction never really stopped,” Joshua Griffen, of the Ojai-based Cornerstone Architects, said Thursday. Construction crews had continued working on those things for which they were permitted. “But now it's back on full,” he said.
