When the smoke cleared Tuesday, medical marijuana advocates got some good news and some bad news from the Ventura County Board of Supervisors.
The board voted unanimously to adopt zoning amendments that will specifically prohibit aspects of medical cannabis production, delivery and use. However, the five-member panel also asked county staff to make recommendations on who should be part of a stakeholder group to help draft more thorough and compassionate medical marijuana regulations for the unincorporated areas of the county.
