“Everyone is telling you what to be afraid of. Not one county official, not one, asked us to educate them.” This admonishment, from Ojai resident Jeff Kroll, came Thursday during his sometimes-emotional talk during the Ventura County Planning Commission meeting.
At its Dec. 15 meeting, the Board of Supervisors directed county staff to prepare zoning ordinance text amendments expressly prohibiting the cultivation of medical marijuana for which a license is required under the MMRSA and the operation of medical marijuana dispensaries and manufacturing businesses.
