The Nordhoff High School pool — and its numerous code violations — was a topic of discussion at the Ojai Unified School District board meeting Wednesday.
The violations were outlined in a Sept. 14 inspection report from the Ventura County Environmental Health Division. The report’s findings included a deteriorated pool shell that will require resurfacing, the pool deck is cracked and stair safety handrails are loose, missing or in disrepair. The report also said dirt and debris must be cleaned from the bottom of the pool and faucets in the rest rooms don’t work.
