Empty seats dominate the Libbey Bowl landscape and could continue to do so if the Ojai City Council can’t reach an agreement to bring more acts into the venue.

The Ojai City Council might have balked at a recent proposal for booking the Libbey Bowl, but the prospect for the 2016 season might not be out the window yet. The Council’s newly expanded ad hoc committee will meet next week to resume its exploration of the facility’s future, Councilman Randy Haney said Tuesday.
That future could include a livelier calendar for the year ahead.
