Sunday’s rain was enough to dampen the area, but winds were more of a concern.

Even if it was scarcely enough to cut the dust, the rain that moved over Ojai Valley around noon Sunday was a welcome sight.
Weekend totals recorded on the Ventura County Watershed Protection District’s website ranged from 0.01 inch in Meiners Oaks to 0.04 inch in Ojai. In Upper Ojai Valley, 0.07 inch was recorded at the Ojai Summit Fire Station, while about 0.08 inch fell in upper Matilija Canyon. Oak View received 0.01 inch and 0.04 inch was recorded at the Lake Casitas Dam.
