The Nordhoff football team came out with energy and passion Friday night when they hosted the Carpinteria Warriors for Homecoming night. Unfortunately for the Rangers, the game went south early in the first quarter and the Warriors jumed out to a 20-7 lead, which they would take into the locker room at halftime.
In the second half Carpinteria would score on a 95-yard interception for a touchdown to seal the victory and spoil Nordhoff’s Homecoming. Nordhoff’s lone touchdown of the night came when Daniel Williams threw to Regin Wilson for a 67-yard score.
With the loss, the Rangers drop to 1-7 on the season and they will face the 0-8 Fillmore Flashes next Friday. See Wednesday’s Ojai Valley News for more information of Friday’s Homecoming festivities.
