The Montessori School of Ojai (MSO) recently installed a 9.2 kilowatt solar generator system that should produce about 40 percent of the school’s electrical needs over the course of a year.
According to Eric Baldwin, MSO board member and project coordinator, “The inspiration was to provide an educational tool to teach students about renewable energy, current events and where power comes from, as well as to be a visible reminder to the community on how to save energy.”
