CDFA sprays pesticides in Ojai to prevent citrus-killing HLB

Monday, the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) began spraying  pesticides on residential citrus trees in an area within the city of Ojai, in an effort to prevent the trees from being infected with a disease.
The boundary includes 425 parcels, and the state of California says notifications were mailed to all addresses within the boundary. In addition, pink notices were posted on the doors of all residences within the notification boundary.
