Changes to the metering and reporting of water wells served by the Ojai Basin Groundwater Management Agency (OBGMA) will be discussed when that body meets in regular session Thursday, with two new ordinances on the agenda for public hearings.
Ordinance No. 9 is listed for the meeting as "an ordinance … superseding Ordinance No. 4, specifying the changes in levying groundwater extraction charges." The second ordinance for review, No. 10, is described as an ordinance "requiring testing and calibration of all groundwater extraction facility flowmeters."
