Saturday marked another successful Ojai Valley Earth Day festival at Oak Grove School. The event was put on by the combined efforts of Oak Grove School, the Ojai Valley Green Coalition, Food for Thought and the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy.
Locals kicked off the day with a morning shoreline cleanup at Lake Casitas, after which guests were encouraged to take the trolley — which ran free all day — back to Oak Grove. In keeping with the eco-friendly theme, a bike valet service was run by student volunteers.
