Six sculptures and several small signs were damaged in the Ojai Valley Museum courtyard Tuesday night. At least two of the sculptures appeared to be damaged beyond repair police said.
According to Detective Will Hollowell with the Ojai Police Department, a passer-by noticed a "suspicious person" in the museum courtyard and called police, who eventually arrested 55-year-old Douglas Hippchen on suspicion of felony vandalism and on an outstanding warrant.
